Children raising children
In a Maputo neighborhood where Reencontro works to support orphans, a young boy takes care of a baby sibling. AIDS has created a generation of children who have lost their parents and must now raise themselves.

What a very handsome little boy. It is sad to see that he has to care for his little brother/sister, and he himself is just a child. We sometimes get carried away with our lives being so hard and there are others in the world who have it harder than we do...Beautiful photo.

A beautiful picture of a tragic circumstance. This boy and his baby brother or sister are truly inspiring.

This photo speaks volumes. A child raising a child. It hurts so deeply to see how much he cares for the baby and he is a baby himself.
