Sharing the story right away
Braselino shares photo results with his grandmother. Braselino and other project participants made their photographs using digital cameras. Unlike traditional cameras, which use film that requires chemical processing, digital cameras store images electronically. Very much like a computer file, these images can be viewed immediately through a small display on the back of the camera. For many project participants, the idea of shooting pictures digitally and seeing the results immediately is a completely new and exciting concept.

Disclosing my HIV status was the biggest difficulty of my life. My mother has lost so many people to the virus and always said that she didn't want any of her children to have this disease.
